Just us and the birds.......

Well it’s all been a bit quiet here at Celtic Woodland since we had to close the gates way back in March!!!!!

The birds seem to be that bit louder, the trees are in their green finery and the bluebells are standing tall and proud. The only children running around and enjoying the woods are our 3 so it’s not always that quiet. I must say we are very lucky to have this woodland to roam freely as many people are just at home with very little outdoor space.

We initially thought we would be able to open back up for May and begin our busy season then, all be it a little later than usual. Having missed the Easter break and 2 bank holidays, we were optimistic that we could welcome you all here for the final bank holiday of May. Unfortunately that will not be possible, following the Welsh assembly government’s announcement that we in Wales are on a lock down of another 3 weeks. This takes us up until the end of May and with the possibility of further lock down or movement restrictions being eased slowly, we are looking at not being open until at least July. As you can imagine this is a difficult time and we thank each and everyone of you for your understanding and patience. Anybody who has bookings during this time has been contacted to explain and we will be looking to move bookings to the near future or into 2021 where possible.
